The public is invited to the grand opening of the Chaffey’s Lock rest stop on the Cataraqui Trail on Fri., June 2 at 10 a.m. where project partners Cataraqui Conservation, Township of Rideau Lakes, and the Chaffey’s Lock & Area Heritage Society will cut the ribbon. They will also be unveiling new interpretive signs celebrating the history of the Chaffey’s Rail Station and a historical walking tour.
