“We love our Leeds Grenville location; being between Brockville, Kingston, and Ottawa allows us to offer small-town local service to thousands of households,” says Corey. That approach creates the personal touches big-box retailers often struggle to provide. “Larger competitors can’t compete with the humanization of our local business,” he adds, a central philosophy that sets them apart.
In recent years, the business has embraced connecting with customers through social media, allowing them to showcase products, highlight real customer experiences, and communicate with transparency and personality. This consistent audience engagement has helped build brand voice and recognition, while also boosting sales, resulting in a doubling of their market share.
