The Township of Rideau Lakes is pleased to announce the launch of its new municipal website, designed to provide residents, businesses and visitors with an improved online experience and easier access to municipal information and services.
The website upgrade focused on strengthening website security, improving performance and ensuring the Township’s online presence remains current, accessible and user-friendly. The project included upgrading the website’s content management system, migrating existing content and documents to the new platform, and testing key features to support reliable service delivery.
The new website aims to make it easier for residents to find municipal information, access forms and resources, and stay informed about Township programs, services and initiatives. Visitors can also continue to explore the community through the tourism and investment pages.
The project was undertaken with a focus on maintaining continuity of service, preserving existing website links and ensuring the transition to the new platform was as seamless as possible.
“Our municipal website is an important connection between the Township and our community,” said Mayor Arie Hoogenboom. “This upgrade helps ensure residents and visitors can access the information they need through a secure, reliable and accessible online platform. We are committed to continually improving how we communicate and deliver services to our community.”
The project also provides for future enhancements to the Township’s digital services. Depending on priorities and available funding, potential improvements may include more accessible online forms, enhanced website navigation, online booking and payment options, improved search functionality and additional tools to help users find information quickly.
Residents are encouraged to explore the new website and continue using the Township’s online resources to access municipal information, news, notices and services.
The transition to the new website will take place over the coming days, and may experience temporary interruptions, including periods of downtime as any technical issues are addressed.
