DESCRIPTION:<h2>Do you love a local business? Nominate them!</h2><p>Each year, the Town
 ship calls for nominations of businesses located in Rideau Lakes to recogni
 ze and celebrate the hard-working business owners and entrepreneurs that pr
 ovide employment and services in our communities.&nbsp;The nomination perio
 d opens on February 1, 2026 and will remain open until the first Friday in 
 March.</p><p>The application is simple to complete, and we can provide assi
 stance. We hope to see lots of businesses nominated. There is an online nom
 ination form using SurveyMonkey, in addition to the traditional Fillable PD
 F. This not only makes the nomination process easy, but because the form is
  now available as a link, people can share the nomination form with their o
 nline networks.</p><p>Once the deadline of March 6, 2026 arrives, a panel o
 f judges will assess the applications and select the winners.</p><p>Winners
  will be celebrated at the annual Business Awards Breakfast, scheduled to t
 ake place on Wednesday, April 15 at the Elgin Lions Community Hall.</p><p>P
