_{The Township is engaging a local architectural firm, Altered Roots, to consult and design a new combined Portland Community Hall and Library building that is to be located at 24 Water Street, Portland, the same property where the former Portland Community Hall was located. This letter is to let you know how you can be a part of the process.
An initial concept plan for the facility is in development, based on initial direction and parameters as set by Council on August 1st. Altered Roots and the Township will be hosting a public open house to gain community and stakeholder feedback on this concept plan.} 

_{Aside from these open houses, there are other ways you can get involved in the design process, including:}

• An online survey will be posted at www.rideaulakes.ca which will be a “pop up” at the starting page which you can expect to be launched on August 22nd when the initial designs are released.
