Regale in the adventures of Dr. James Raffan, one of Canada's most well-travelled and entertaining storytellers and ardent canoeists.  Join Friends of the Westport Library on March 7 for an evening of stories and music by James Raffan at Westport United Church.  Be entertained and educated by his backcountry expeditions, accounts of chasing caribou, penguins and polar bears, and travels to the Arctic Circle.  James will update you on the exciting developments as the new Canadian Canoe Museum takes shape on Little Lake in Peterborough.  Two classic Canadian silent watercraft will be on display for the evening.
