Description

Tour a working farm on Saturday, October 1 at 3pm. 1430 County Rd. 8, Elgin (in Chantry). The theme is casual (hopefully there won't be any kind of spectacle, such as animals getting out), so wear something you don't mind getting mud on. It's not a pet friendly event (unfamiliar dogs and livestock don't tend to mix well).

We'll start the tour shortly after 3, and we'll take time to walk the farm and I'll explain as many why's and how's as I can with lots of time for questions and just to observe. It's going to be a buffet style simple meal (gluten free).  Seating is rustic (hay bales wood planks) so if you'd like something different you're welcome to bring a seat.

I'm looking forward to it, although public speaking is far outside my comfort zone.  But I love the farm, the animals, and the life here and I want to share it as best I can. Kids of all ages are welcome. You can still RSVP if you're interested. 

$20 per adult and kids under 16 free.
