Canada Day events are planned throughout Rideau Lakes. 

North Crosby: Family activities and live music at the Westport Lions Beach, from 12 to 4 pm. There will be a Westport Legion barbecue from 12 to 2 p.m., as well as a wing night from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Legion. Live music is from 7 to 10 pm, with the fireworks starting at 10 pm. Link to poster. 
Newboro: From 6-9pm around the Newboro Hall the Perth Citizens Band will provide entertainment, a hotdog bbq with cake and cold drinks will be set up, face painting and more! Parade starts at 7:00pm. Link to poster. 
Portland: The Big Rideau Lakes Association will host a fireworks’ display from Cow Island, which is set to begin at dusk. The rain date is July 2. Link to website.
Chaffey's Lock: Activities, music and a hotdog BBQ will take place from 11-3pm at Chaffey's Lock with a duck race at 1:30pm.  Link to Poster.
