The quaint hamlets and villages of Rideau Lakes offer breathtakingly beautiful countryside and waterways. A perfect day or weekend to enjoy meandering, picnic lunch along one of the locks, in a local park, or an overnight stay in one of the many Bed & Breakfast locations. Stop in for lunch or an afternoon snack at many wonderful cafes or waterfront restaurants.

Our art is motivated and stimulated by the natural beauty of the waterways, culture, and history of this part of eastern Ontario. Here, in the surroundings of the Rideau Canal, a National Historic Site, and an Ontario UNESCO World Heritage Site, you can explore these roots, and enjoy the unique creations produced by our local artists in an extensive range of styles and media.

Artists look forward to sharing their creations with you. Browse artist's studios and view some of the magic that awaits.
